Course Overview:

This enhanced five-day course provides a comprehensive and highly interactive introduction to the Management of Risk: Creating and Protecting Value (M_o_R 4) framework, also known as PRINCE2 risk management. The programme begins with a foundation-style introduction to the language of risk management before progressing into scenario-driven application of the methodology. Learners explore how to apply risk management across strategic, portfolio, programme, project, product, and operational contexts.

Prerequisites:

Participants should have:

  • An interest in organisational risk management and its application across delivery and operational environments.
  • Experience working within a project, programme, portfolio, or operational context.
  • A willingness to undertake evening consolidation activities, including reading and practice examination questions.

Certification / Exam:

Learners prepare for the M_o_R 4 practitioner examination, which is scheduled outside the five-day course. The exam format includes:

  • A 2-hour 15-minute assessment
  • Semi-open book (M_o_R 4 guide only)
  • 65 multiple-choice questions
  • A pass mark of 33 out of 65

Learners take part in guided discussions, practice questions, and exam-style activities to consolidate knowledge and strengthen exam readiness.
