Course Overview:
This TOGAF® EA Training Foundation Course introduces the latest version of TOGAF and will help you to prepare to take The Open Group's examination leading to the TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Foundation qualification. This course introduces all of the topics defined as the Learning Outcomes upon which the TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Foundation Examination is based, to the level needed to pass the examination.

Course Objectives:
By actively participating in this course, you will learn about the following:
- The concepts of Enterprise Architecture and the TOGAF Standard
- The key terminology of the TOGAF standard
- The Architecture Development Method (ADM) cycle and the objectives of each phase, and how to adapt and scope the ADM for use
- The techniques available to support application of the ADM
- Applying the ADM, including use of iteration, partitioning, and application in a Digital enterprise
- How Architecture Governance contributes to architecture development
- Architecture content – the outputs produced while executing the ADM
Course Content:
In this 2 day TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Foundation course, the following topics are covered:
- Introduction and Core Concepts
- Architecture Development Method
- ADM Techniques
- Applying the ADM
- Architecture Content
- Enterprise Architecture Capability and Governance
Candidates should be aware that this course does not address these topics in detail and additional study is required.
Prerequisites:
There is no formal prerequisite for this course, although it will be beneficial to have foundational knowledge of generic Enterprise Architecture.
Certification / Exam:
- The course prepares candidates for sitting the TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Part 1 Exam
- The exam (60 minutes) is in closed-book format, and includes 40 multiple-choice questions.
- The passing score is 60% (24 out of 40 questions)
- An examination voucher is provided as part of this course, delegates are required to self book at a time and location that is convenient to themselves.
