Happy New Year

Well, we hope you all had a fabulous Festive period and may we take this opportunity to wish you a very Happy New Year.  We are open as normal from Tuesday 3rd January so we hope you are refreshed and as excited as us to see what 2023 will bring.  We hope to be speaking with you very soon and if there is anything we can do to help you on your training journey then please get in touch.

New Course Release – Conducting Interviews

We have just released a new course, Conducting Interviews, that sits within our Business Skills Portfolio.  This course has been designed for those who are responsible for hiring new members of staff and who want to understand their responsibilities, develop insightful interview prompts and master questioning techniques to uncover a candidate’s strengths.

Safety Law Update Training Course

Safety legislation is being changed in the UK after a legislative pause brought on by COVID-19. We have new Acts to handle building and fire management in response to the Grenfell disaster, and new security legislation are being discussed in response to the incident at Manchester Arena. The Highway Code and the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at Work Regulations, for instance, have both undergone significant modifications.

*** New Course Releases*** Microsoft SharePoint Training

Due to popular demand we have developed 2 new courses for Microsoft SharePoint to run alongside our SharePoint Online for Users course.  Firstly the Microsoft SharePoint Online for Owners course and then our Microsoft Webpages course - both courses are one day courses.

**NEW Course Release** Administration Skills

We are pleased to announce the release of our new Administration Skills course in our Business Skills Portfolio.  This is a general administration skills course that covers topics including business communication and telephone skills, diary and office management, organising meetings, time management and stress management.

Microsoft 365 Bespoke Training Programme

We have designed and have just started virtual delivery of a Bespoke Training Programme for one of our customers containing a mix of half day and one day courses all focused around Microsoft 365 Applications that will continue over the next 6 months.  Covering areas such as Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Sway and others.  These courses will be delivered at approximately 2 week intervals for a couple of cohorts. 

SQL Querying Fundamentals 8th April - Virtual Classroom

Many organisations use databases to store their most critical information.  After the information is stored, it is useless unless you can retrieve it and the language you use to retrieve information from SQL Server 2012 is the Structured Query Language (SQL).  This course will teach you to use SQL as a tool to retrieve information you need from the business for further business analysis.

**NEW Course Release ** Microsoft Project Level 4

To enable our customers to get an even more in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Project, we have launched our new Microsoft Project Level 4 course.  This more advanced course covers areas such as costing, resources and managing multiple projects in more depth and we advise that you will have attended our Level 1 and Level 2 Course prior to attending.
